A young married couple dreamed up an apartment where function will be in top form. They wanted a kitchen and eventually also other furniture that would not only look great, but that would also withstand long daily usage without any flaws. There was a clear agreement: furnishing a family home is never a short-term investment. Quite the opposite. Decisions that are made early on will influence the form of the home and thus the owners' life satisfaction for years to come.

From the Sykora website straight to the enthusiastic life

It all started with a market research and inspiration gathered from many places. One of the sources was the Sykora website where the couple finally found the materialization of what had been shaped only in their imaginations up to that point. Voila, off to the Sykora kitchen studio for a concrete inspection and examination of the details. When they saw the granite countertop in person and felt it by hand, the decision was made. This kitchen will be theirs.

Black matt: exceeds even the most demanding requirements

Tweaking and customizations began. A special space with sloping walls, a room combined with a living hall, a dark color as a colorization that breaks from the standard, a two-level set that copies the side wall. The final choice was the TOP design with horizontal lines drawn from a black matt Nero Zimbabwe granite worktop with a chipped edge. It is a straightforward definition of modern, charismatic design that doesn't leave any space soullessly empty - instead, it fills all corners with a powerful presence and colors them with an almost mystical visuality.

The future has never looked better

The selected granite countertop was impregnated by the stonecutters prior to installation and its properties and visual characteristics were improved with Patinato surface treatment. The result? It can resist mechanical damage, high temperatures and aggressive substances, but no one can resist its charm. The tiles above the countertop are also made of the same granite, which solidifies the overall style of the set and harmonizes the space. The black worktop and dark cabinets varnished in Xtreme Black Matt are playfully complemented by the horizontal middle cabinets made of natural oak with bottom LED lighting. The sides of the tall cabinets or work island are also made of the same material.

The high-end Siemens Studio Line appliances with the Home Connect technology effectively and efficiently blend into the body of the set and the solution philosophy, which can communicate with each other and carry out the required commands via telephone or voice assistant. The dishwasher will automatically turn on at the right moment so the dishes are clean right when you come home while the oven sets itself for the recipe the owners have chosen for dinner and sent it to the appliance via their mobile phone on their way from work.

Sykora kitchen: solution without borders

There is also a plenty of exceptional storage space in this finely tuned kitchen set. Hidden drawers, pull-out drawers or a cascading pantry cabinet are complemented by a backlit glass bottle cabinet - which brightens up the already lively kitchen to an even higher level. The resulting solution was so satisfying for the owners that they subsequently had Sykora make wardrobes for their bedrooms or hallways.

When it comes to living, never back down from your visions. Because every mistake, setback or compromise will add up. And, of course, the reverse is true as well. If you make the right choice, everything will pay off greatly many times over, and for many years you will live, work, cook and enjoy a kitchen you won't grow old with.
