A kitchen with an aquarium? We will not let any wish float away.
Do you feel like a fish in water at your home? In this case, the saying came true literally. The wish was stated right at the beginning: we want to have an aquarium built right into the kitchen island. What couldn’t be done elsewhere, we were able to fulfill for our clients at Sykora. It was one of the things that ultimately created a set that the owners immediately and forever fell in love with and that all their guests admire with mute amazement.
For seafood delicacies and plenty of home coziness
The set consists of a large block of cabinets and horizontal cupboards in TOP design incorporated at the rear wall. They are preceded by one meter by a solitaire with a washing area and an aquarium. Functionally and stylistically, it is an imaginary gateway to the kitchen area, which separates or links the relaxation zone in the hall from the kitchen working zone. Along the side of the room there is a series of large windows, from which a lot of pleasant light comes into the main living area of the house during most of the day. Not only the fish feel like in paradise here.
A worktop full of life
In order for the island to serve all kinds of gastronomic escapades and at the same time provide a safe and visually captivating refuge for the finned creatures, it was necessary to construct a special metal model for it and sheathe it with a door material. On the top, we have placed the Anthracite Ceramic laminate worktop - its corner part can be moved away, making the aquarium fully accessible and serviceable from above.
Sykora kitchen. If you want the most beautiful.
The preparation area of the set with the hob has its logical place in the middle of the main body. On the left it is framed by two large refrigerators, one monoclimatic, the other with a freezer. A tall pantry cabinet and a set of Electrolux appliances are installed on the opposite from the right. The design rhythm of the kitchen is also maintained through color differentiation - the cabinets and shelves on the sides feature a caramel brown color dictated by the cognac oak material, while the central cabinets and tiling respond by featuring an Extreme Black Matt. Everything is unified by the black handles in the doors and the connecting strips that finish the set like the maestro's signature.
