It began with dreams and ended with a delightful new beginning
When this young married couple had decided for a new house, nothing was left to chance. After all, it is an investment for many years to come, so apart from the construction itself they also paid equal attention to the interior. They used the help of a designer, who brought them to us so we could realize the kitchen precisely according to her design. Ideal course of action when you know what you want and will not settle for anything half-hearted. Only change we made from the original layout was a location of the cooker hood. Instead of the original ceiling version we decided to use the version built directly into the worktop for practical reasons, as it is many times more effective. Otherwise everything is just as the owners dreamed it would be. From the overall concept, dispositions or used materials, to atypical dimensions or color scheme. We are proud that we are able to fulfill almost every wish our customers have. To the last detail. Or, as we at Sykora sometimes say, to the last handle :-).
Two lines, one kitchen, zero obstacles
The lady of the house is a housewife so she utilizes the kitchen as a base for her daily activities basically nonstop. In order to be able to oversee her children while she is preparing their breakfasts before school or snacks for their hobby groups, she required a comfortable and safe layout with plenty of space. She needed a compact design to be able to have everything comfortably at hand and wouldn’t waste time by constant moving around. The result is a kitchen consisting of two parallel lines. The main corpus with top and bottom boxes and a washing center is located along the wall - on one side it ends with a triple-combination of Miele appliances, on the other side with a pantry cabinet with pull-out drawers. Another interesting element of the set are the invisible grip profiles above the sink with which you can comfortably open the cupboards even if you have wet fingers, or the monoclimatic refrigerator with electric opening and undermount freezer.
Place for cooking and for everything else
Approximately a meter from the wall there is a solitary island. It is a classic solitaire, but with abnormally generous dimensions - it offers a several meters long worktop, a cooking zone and a serving counter with seating. It is very suitable for breakfasts or early evening snack and for briefly listing through a newspaper with good wine. And you don’t need to go far because right from its side there is an integrated wine cabinet. The rest of the inside space of the island is filled with pull-out units for oils and spices, or storage cupboards for pots.
When your ideas come through
As for the colors scheme, the owners and the designer bet on the lightness and elegance of the white accompanied by the ubiquitous wooden accents. The chosen material solution also corresponds with that - the cabinets are in the Exclusive high white gloss design, the worktop from the Decton stone decor ends with the massive, 6 cm thick, Oak countertop. As they say in one Czech movie, the beauty alternates with splendor.
