Kitchen by Sykora, the obvious choice
Come, see, rejoice. The owners of this set-up saw their new kitchen on their initial visit to our studio, and it was love at first sight. They knew what they wanted from the start - earthy colours, captivating design, clever storage and a massive bar on the island. The kitchen on display ticked all the boxes, so the decision has been made. This one and no other.
Great first impression and all the others too
What is immediately striking about the kitchen is the elegance it exudes. The sleek surfaces are disciplined and rugged at the same time, with a charming colour scheme given by the Evermatt Terrabrown doors. It's an eye-pleasing design that won't fade even after years. The bar is solid oak, while Nero Zimbabwe granite has been used for the worktop, creating a beautifully harmonious combination. A kitchen doesn't need to play with all the colours to make its design score full marks.
Clever details, sophisticated as a whole
The set offers plenty of thoughtful storage space and imaginative solutions. The lower cabinets have increased depth, and the upper cabinets have electronic controls. The American fridge is complemented by a spacious pantry. The electric bins are also a great practical idea - no need to touch them, just push your knee on the door and the bin slides out.
A family treasure
The centre of the set is a large, almost eccentric island. Sykora bar stools are placed around it, lighting is installed above it in a rhythmic arrangement, and a circular Faber ceiling hood is installed above the cooking area. Although the whole room is airy and spacious, it looks compact and, given the materials and colours used, very cosy. It is a pleasure not only to cook but also to be here. It is the ideal place for yourself and family gatherings.
